I'm going to introduce the other one named Frank who agrees with legalized gambling as if I were him.
" I'm Frank Fahrenkopf, who is a CEO of the American Gaming Assosiation. I think gambling shouldn't be illegal because by using the reveneu from casinos, we can support people who are addicted to gambling, lost their jobs and live on welfare. For example, we can help them to find a new job. That's how they don't have to rely on welfare any more. So, we could help her if she asked us to help.
The point is that gambling does more good than damage."
Hi Shuhei,
返信削除This is interesting. I'm surprised that a CEO of a gaming association would make such an argument. It seems rather cynical to say that "money that we make in the gambling industry can be used to treat people with gambling addictions." It's like a thief saying that he will support his robbery victim's pension fund with the money he has stolen from him. The addiction would not need to be treated if the forum for the addict to practice his addiction didn't exist. I can't feel any sincerity in the argument. What do you think of it?
Cheers,
Joseph D.
